To the question why Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Stadium,  there was another football game taking place at the regular stadium Considering the Tigers history I did not expect a Sakon Nakhon win  2013 3rd in the league 2014 1st 2014 4th 2015 7th The fact that the game ended in a tie seems quite an accomplishment for the team.  Actually makes me think that this season will be a marked improvement. Sakon FC next travels to Nong Khai for a game at 5 pm, Sunday, April 3 The next home game is April 23, after the Songkran holidays

Very noticeable was the cheering section.  Seemed better organized than in past homegames.  For most of the game there was plenty to cheer. The game went into overtime (Extratime).  Nong Khai won the game in a penalty shootout
