Mostly hot till the weekend, worst on Friday feels like 117
Our weather has returned to a west to east pattern. North East continues to be prone to make a u-turn toward us. Of future interest may be the weather developing south east of the Philippines

obviously we are only halfway through this weekend's games. Four games to be played today. I'm guessing # 9 or 10 by the end of the day

Temperatures remain High Rainy season begins Mid May
Even though the main weather system seems to be moving west to east, recent rains, there've been a few, have all come from the northeast.
An indication that the weather patterns are beginning to shift.
Temperatures will remain high through the middle of May. Occasional scattered thunderstorms.

Talk About false alarm
Local weather service reported no rain with mostly calm winds. Most weather services did anticipate some rain. Not even a sprinkle materialized, just cloudy skies. Could be some rain. "Scattered" is in almost every forecast. Later today and Saturday.  |

New Age Airship

The first transatlantic crossing by airship was made by the British R34 in July 1919 took 4 1/2 days.
Later 5 fuel engine airships made the trip in 3 1/4 days
Staying airborne that long I'd need an open bar to tranquilize myself.
I would have prefered a solar hovercraft, but it ain't been done large scale
