Ant invasion

Any hopes for a better SFC season may be put on hold. With the recent loss Sakon has dropped from 8th to 11th. That could be disputed since there are three teams with identical points, placing SFC at number 9.  

Wednesday's home game does not look all that promising, yet there is hope against the ants (Amnat Poly United FC).

Yes there will be weather somewhere

Sipping a couple of brews in early evening under a light drizzle.  Driving home, it became obvious that other parts of town were drenched. puddles everywhere.    By the time I got home, not a drop had fallen the ground was bone dry.  Expect that here and there weather to continue.  Keep your rain gear handy. SFC Anniversary

Even though present team promotion indicates since 2010, Sakon Nakhon FC was formed in 2005. It's first football game was held on May 9, 2005 with a halftime show to commemorate the occasion The team started in the pro league the following year The team began it's tenure in the North East League in 2009

I get no respect: I have photographed more Sakon FC games than anyone else, definitely attended more SFC games than any other foreigner

Before the game I had placed a thermometer into the sun. The thermometer's maximum is 50 C, reached that within two minutes. Wrapped ice in a towel and used that as a neckscarf

That sinking feeling

The loss to Mukdahan was totally unexpected. It was Mukdahan's  first win in six games played.  With Saturday's games Sakon Nakhon slipped from 8th to 10th.  With today's games pending, the drop may go a step or two lower. Wednesday's match with Amnat , number 2 in the league, does not give me much hope.
