Looking at the monthly forecasts through this rainy season, not as much rain forecast as one would consider plentiful.  But then weather patterns can change on a dime, at least I am hoping.   If the forecast holds true, well diggers should be high in demand later this year.

Sakon FC triumphs 2 - 0 over Nong Khai FT

Parking at the provincial sports center (on airport road) is atrocious. The street in front of the stadium was turned into a parking lot.  We had to wait till a few cars down the road could back out. Still a lot of construction going on at the multipurpose sport facility. One would hope adequate parking is in planning stage. Until that's attended to, come early and bring patience with you Whitewashed cement wall.  My first thought was 'drive-in movies.' Local expat hospitalized

Colin Whitehead suffered a stroke earlier this week. Colin Whitehead appears to have a blood clot on the brain and his speech seems to be slurred and delirious. His wife has returned from Australia and is at his bedside.The information is all second hand and I can not attest to the accuracy. I made a few visits to his house, with no one home, before I was advised of his hospitalization. October 2, 2006

Polite, courteous, friendly

Was headed toward Colin's house when I was stopped.  The Policeman saluted. Looked at my driver's license, asked "where are you going." I answered " visit a friend." He asked where I am from, I answered "USA."  The whole roadstop took a minute and was a pleasant experience
