Not quite sure how to define "shared with me. Could be the number of visitors to my  blog?

The playlist needs some serious editing

The prices had already been in effect for a while ...

The matter made a reappearance in the headlines, when locals complained that they were losing money. "less paying customers."
Some of these at one time pristine islands and parks have been overrun with tourist, creating a daylong rush hour traffic. Pristine areas are getting trampled and trashed.  It's all a result of mass tourism.
There's also insufficient infrastructure. Where there's trash, there have to be trash cans.
There are some parks which are not on my wish list. If I'm going to pay a higher price, then I just want to make sure it's worth it.

Water is flowing

The areas canals don't operate year round. Generally starts in March, ends at different times.  Most likely dependent on supply on hand.
Canals are very popular for swimming

The walls to the canal are quite steep, the water travels quite fast, ropes can be rented and can be used to avoid traveling down stream or to climb out of the canal.
Inner tube rentals are  available

March 6, 2017  are operational

April 4, 2013 the sluice gate was already shut down
