The changeover is easier said than done

Quality tourists, tourists with money to spend, tend to avoid large crowds created by the quantity tourism campaigns of recent years.  Unless of course quality tourists receive preferential treatment over bus tours. That most likely will mean pay more for the privilege.    Crowd tourism has proved not to be as profitable, requires more maintenance, and may have reached it's peak.

Yes I'm really bad when it comes to remembering names. Yes I sometimes refer to my albums or facebook where many names are listed. Proved it again yesterday.  After calling out for "A" a number of times, When someone finally tapped him on his shoulder, my longtime friend turned around: "My name 'O'." 😳 My mind won't let me forget the moment and replays that moment frequently. Embarrassed giggle is my response.  In response my mind replays other embarrassing moments in my lifetime. There've been plenty of them.

The Longboat Races and Wax Castle Festival is in less than thirty days, so I went around to see if any preparations are underway.  Nothing yet.  The lake still needs to be cleaned of all the vegetation. Wax castle construction has not yet begun.  That's generally a two week process.  Sakon Nakhon Royal Longboat Races and Wax Castle festival is October 2 through 5
