The Thai New Year, Songkran is normally celebrated on 13, 14, 15 April. If any of those holidays fall on a weekend, additional days are added. At other times days are added purely for economic tourism purposes.

With a huge loss Saturday, Sakon FC sunk down one tier to 12th in a league of 14 teams. Surin advanced to third place in the league.
Sakon FC next faces that other Surin team "Surin Sugar Khongcheemool." The teams are equal in wins, losses and draws. Only difference is Sakon FC has allowed more goals by their opponents.
... that the venue of today's Sakon FC game was changed.
That announcement was posted on the same day Sakon FC had that big 4-1 win. Obviously my mind was out celebrating. By the time I has reminded of the change it was too late for me to readjust my plans. Next weekend is another game in Surin. Am toying with the idea of flying down for an overnight stay.
