Mango season is in full swing

Have to keep an eye on visitors and limit their take home bounty, many seem to think it's s free for all.

I peel them on a daily basis (except during my recent illness) and throw them in a blender. I use a minute amount of vodka for cleaning purposes. It tends to evaporate during freezing.

Recently replaced a freezer which I suspect will be 50% frozen mango. I eat a few popsicles daily

Just survived my second Covid

Worse than the first, even with two vaccinations.

All started with the traditional Songkran hand rinsing on 14 April.

15, 16 + 17th I slept continuously under two blankets with the air con providing me cool air to breathe.

No loss of sense of smell, in fact the worst smell came from my breath.

Began eating quarter portions on the fifth day.

There appear to be some lasting after effects including muscle and chest pains

Finally cleaned out the pool on the tenth day, and man was it a mess

My opinion: Waste of money in humid climate. Swamp coolers are most effective in dry climates, and do little in high humidity. Also known as evaporative coolers, they have a tray which is filled with water. The fan is smaller than a wall exhaust fan and produces less wind than a standard 12" fan.
