Mister Hans' Neighborhood

NOK Air increases Sakon Nakhon flights.
Daily flight service between Sakon Nakhon and  Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport begins January 30.
At present there are no flights on Saturdays and Tuesdays

Where I come from, we'd call these storage units.
These are not.
They are two room apartments renting for Bt2,500.
The units were completed about two months ago.
Construction of these units started   in January,  2009

Still in it's youth. Can't wait to taste this home grown pineapple

A friend of mine nursed this salad patch from seeds he'd brought from Germany.
I have a weeks supply in my fridge now, and seeds to plant my own

My Pool needed re-grouting.
The handyman I hired for this job brought his own tools

Hhhhm, sugar steam...
Now there's a job you can call sweet

If you're planning a trip between Udon and Sakon, be prepared for slowdowns.
It's sugar harvesting season and there are "plenty" of trucks overloaded with sugarcane on the highway.
Their top speed seems to be 40 KM per hour, with or without a load.
Across the street from the processing mill I saw what looked like three football fields of trucks waiting in line to be unloaded.

Odd Picture on an odd day

Saw this sign on a street in Udon.

It was an odd numbered day and that side of the road was filled with parked cars.

Guess this sign applies to English speakers only.

Didn't spot the Thai version of this sign nearby.
