Misting fans now available locally  Wet towel covering the top half of the fan produced cooler air than just the fan running. Only problem was towels would dry in a matter of three to five minutes.  Had considered purchasing a misting fan for years, but the prices where a lot more than what I wanted to pay.Misting fans now available locally have become affordable. With a 65 watt fan and a 35 watt misting motor, I'm quite happy with the cooling result. Only thing I didn't care about was the remote control feature. Have to unplug it when not in use. Otherwise the power is always in standby for remote control use. |
Songkran, love it or hate it, is approaching  Those of us who love it will have to prepare to arm ourselves.I have found that most mass produced water pistols tend to quickly 'wear out'.. Best water weapon I found to be the garden sprayer. Big enough to fill with ice cubes for that special effect. After the party's over the sprayer is returned for garden use |
