Misting fans now available locally I'd been doing it for years: Wet towel covering the top half of the fan produced cooler air than just the fan running. Only problem was towels would dry in a matter of three to five minutes. Had considered purchasing a misting fan for years, but the prices where a lot more than what I wanted to pay. Misting fans now available locally have become affordable. With a 65 watt fan and a 35 watt misting motor, I'm quite happy with the cooling result. Only thing I didn't care about was the remote control feature. Have to unplug it when not in use. Otherwise the power is always in standby for remote control use. |
Songkran, love it or hate it, is approaching Those of us who love it will have to prepare to arm ourselves. I have found that most mass produced water pistols tend to quickly 'wear out'.. Best water weapon I found to be the garden sprayer. Big enough to fill with ice cubes for that special effect. After the party's over the sprayer is returned for garden use |
