Sakon Nakhon Smoggy and Noisy

As we left the house on the way to visit the fair I commented "where's the fire?"
Once on the main road it became very obvious. You could see thick smog under the street lights.
A weather inversion keeping polluted air close to the ground.
Smog: smoke and fog.  Any major city would have posted health alerts.
The weather inversion also seemed to keep sound close to the ground.
The concert at the temple started at 9:20 pm.
At first I thought the neighbors had their stereo turned up high.
I was about to complain, till I realized it was the temple concert two to three miles from my house
Most roads around the temple had been designated one way traffic.
Luckily I've been here long enough to know all the alleys avoiding gridlock.

Countless food stalls and sit down eateries.

.

Didn't stay long near the temple building

                   incense smoke was very thick

Plenty to see, do, and buy.

Improper attire for temple visit
And I thought giving the finger meant something else
