Red Cross Fair 2015 in Sakon Nakhon

Best part of the fair was meeting friends I had not seen for a while.

Fairs aren't as enticing to me as they once were.
The no alcohol law is a big reason.  I'm not a lush, but I used to enjoy sitting down with friends and relax with a beer or two and watch people walk by.

Bumper cars were a favorite of mine.  Used to spend hours riding the cars and even give away books of  tickets to all the kids who looked but couldn't afford the ride.  They even set up a table nearby where I could sit down with a cocktail or two.
Haven't seen the rides at fairs in at least five years.

One of the fair activities which still entices me is the firing range. Something I do every year.  I want to see how close together I can keep my shots.  Unfortunately the rifle jammed after almost every shot and I had to wait until the rifle was cleared and reloaded.

After the fair a stop nearby
