Weather Advisory


Weather alert Thai Meteorological department:The tropical storm “VAMCO” over the central South China Sea was centered at about 250 kilometers of Da Nang, Vietnam, or latitude 15.5 degree North, longitude 110.0 degree East, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/hr. It is moving west with a speed of 10 km/hr. It is forecast to make landfall over the central Vietnam on 15 September 2015. It is expected to have increase rainfall on Thailand during 15-18 September. All people in the Northeast, the East and the lower Central should beware heavy to very heavy rainfall in this period. The stronger wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and the upper Andaman Sea. All ship in these areas should proceed with caution.
