A final farewell and a rekindling of friendships

Had met the deceased Kevin Dawson on a few road trips to Tha Rae at the former "Roadhouse."
Not knowing him that well I had considered not attending the funeral ceremony, but considered it a bit rude. The benefit of such events is to revisit with friends you haven't seen in awhile.
It's also the only time sworn enemies meet and behave themselves. There were some friendly faces I should have recognized, but didn't. Possibly I have a slight case of alzheimer's. Old friends become frequent new acquaintances.
Didn't stay for the ceremony. I was anticipating a long day, I had been up since 3 am
