Thailand Tourism Challenges Ahead

Many of the nearby countries are starting direct flights, bypassing "The Bangkok HUB." Thailand's China tourism hasn't been what it should be.  Sure massive numbers. But they are on a discount travel plan.  Up to 50% off.  Increased wear and tear, less income. The present government is stepping up efforts to wipe out its seedy reputation and improve it's image.  It won't all disappear, but it will be 'toned down' quite a bit. Thailand tourism has up to now rebound from many mishaps  and miscalculations.  Up to now it's been the best in SE Asia, now the competition is heating up.
