Event: Road Closures – 34th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit
From Thursday, June 20, through Sunday, June 23, Thailand will host the 34th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit at The Athenee Hotel. Leaders and delegations from the 10 member nations are scheduled to attend the event.
Traffic delays and road closures should be expected in the vicinity of The Athenee Hotel, particularly during the arrival and departure of delegate motorcades. From Saturday, June 22, through Sunday, June 23, police will establish vehicle checkpoints at the Ploenchit and Sarasin Road intersections on Witthayu (Wireless) Road.
Actions to Take:
· Avoid crowds and areas where there are protest events, demonstrations, large gatherings, or security operations.
· Follow any instructions and restrictions that local authorities issue.
