Seen some major storm alerts on facebook. Some indicating possible floods and high winds.
I was very sceptical. Eleven weather sites I visited agreed it was going to rain, all differed on amount and location and time. Most alerts claimed wind gusts at between 11-15 KM h.
Looking outside at 6 am I did not see any wet roads. Everything seemed dry. Checking again an hour later with full sunlight I discovered evidence that it did rain sometime during the night.
Additional evidence in my own yard. Plants which I had powdered with Talc had all been washed clean
TMD reported a wind gust of 14.8, rome rain shortly before and after midnight at 6.6 mm.
