Local Google Map updated

It's been brought to my attention that local google satellite maps were recently updated.
As an example: The highway on which Apples restaurant is located was not indicated on maps until the update

How recent the map update occurred can be noted in the image below, where the 3 story shophouse building completed in November 2013 is visible across from apples, yet the newer built cowboy restaurant across the street is still an empty field

The cowboy themed restaurant was built early this year, indicating that the local map was probably updated late last year or no later than January this year.

Sakon Nakhon Map now in English

My biggest complaint regarding Google maps of this area,
they were available only in the language of the region.
That seems to have been changed recently.

Having set up my own map from an older version of google maps, I now have to spend some time moving my markers. In the below example my football player seems to be a bit too far south

Most description windows are in Thai, by right clicking on the text it is translated to English. You only need to do that once. After that translation is automatic.
