190615 You have to love Thailand's road hazard warning signs: fresh cement
It's not the standard highway warning sign, not red cone, no flashing lights at night. Just a few branches should warn you of hazardous conditions.
I have had four minor motorcycle accidents in 16 years. The cause of three accidents was road conditions (pothole on a newly paved highway, uneven road lane, sand in road) . One accident was caused by chasing dogs

190614 Rainy season starts next month
Recent rain has been mostly light and very scattered.
Drive through town which is mostly dry, but you will find the occasional water puddles.
Most of these puddles are dried within an hour.

Artificial lightning can increase your waistline. I thought it was the microwaves causing my weight gain. I spend a lot of time in front of that oven
Recent research indicates... they got that all wrong, the research was done a few years ago.
What's different this time is the research subject. Earlier studies were done on infants. This new study surveyed 43,722 women with a result in weight gain and illnesses.
Until further studies prove otherwise I am going to presume the effects are the same on men

190610 Baht forecast is speculation if nothing goes awry
Opinion is that the baht will continue to strengthen against many foreign currencies. The number for the US dollar may drop down to 29.7 baht later this year. US expats have seen such numbers before in the early months 0f 2011.
The minimum monthly income for a single Expat in Thailand is is 65,000 Baht
In 2002 that was US$1,477
In 2019 it is US$2,097
Compared to 2002 you are getting 13,000 baht less these days per US$1,000
