NOK Air increases Sakon Nakhon flights.
Daily flight service between Sakon Nakhon and Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport begins January 30.
At present there are no flights on Saturdays and Tuesdays

| Hhhhm, sugar steam... Now there's a job you can call sweet If you're planning a trip between Udon and Sakon, be prepared for slowdowns. It's sugar harvesting season and there are "plenty" of trucks overloaded with sugarcane on the highway. Their top speed seems to be 40 KM per hour, with or without a load. Across the street from the processing mill I saw what looked like three football fields of trucks waiting in line to be unloaded. |
