Tropical Storm may reach Northeast Thailand! At the moment the storm is moving in a northwesterly direction. Hard to predict with any certainty speed and  direction the storm will take. Moments when I wish I had a camera on my head Saw a lone policeman along the highway attempting to wave down helmet-less motorcycle riders. Nobody stopped.  Traffic just seemed to ignore him, they didn't even slow down.   Doubt he wrote any tickets that day. More recently at a three cop checkpoint, a motorcyclist slowed down until he approached the policeman.   Then he gave it all his engine could muster and continued down the road like a bat out of hell.   No police chase, just a grinning cop with a blank ticket book in his hand.

We arrived in  Mahasarakham  two hours before scheduled game time.

175km /109miles

Discovered a new shopping area, not quite ready for business.  

Vendors seemed to be moving in.

 

Spotted this restaurant across the street.
The food was tasty. A bit pricey for what you get. 

   

Quite classy place.  Paintings with price tags, apparently for sale

Arrived  early for the game.  Time for some poses.
