Increased food spoilage due to high temperatures
Left half a stick of butter out for fifteen minutes at 8 am this morning.
A reminder that cooked foods tend to spoil quicker during these hot climates.
If in doubt microwaving just to be sure

Hoping for rain
 Of course I'm watching the weather out in the Pacific, hoping to see the arrival of the rainy season. Linfa may have some local effect sometime next week. Most likely midweek temperatures will drop. Scattered thunderstorms. |

Candlelight / Wax Candle parade July 31 ?
The Ubon candle festival seems to be the most advertised, but it's not the only celebration in Thailand. It's celebrated in cities and villages throughout the country, recognising the start of Buddhist lent (Khao Phansa). Have not seen any local advertisement regarding a parade later this month, but it would be unusual if no parade was planned. Will do some checking and update this post      |
