Just like the limited hours of alcohol sales, this new law will not reduce teen drinking, it will just create another inconvenience for everyone. I have yet to see a Ma & Pa shop refuse the sale of beer because it's not within the prescribed hours.
If teens want to drink they'll easily walk or drive a city block or two. At present alcohol sales are allowed between the hours of 11 am to 2pm, generally also the time when schools have their lunch breaks.
There's a few stores and restaurants that I know of locally who will have to cease alcohol sales. I'd expect the restaurants will most likely shut down or move to new locations.
