It's gona be crowded This weekend at the Nong Sa at Lao Po Daeng Boat Races

Bangkok to Sakon Nakhon (and return trips) on five available flights per day are beginning to fill up for the upcoming Wax Castle Festival season.
A few flights are showing  1 seat left  while some flights are   sold out
I prefer arriving early, before the crowds arrive.  It's important to find a parking space with a good departure route. Bring change for parking fees.
The relax and scope out the lay of the land, meet people, and locate the refreshment areas.  Bring umbrella or large shade hat. Sunblock advisable

Spring forward, Fall backwards, no daylight savings time in Thailand ... BUT..

... it's important to remember when watching foreign television streaming, to adjust your viewing schedule.
It's been said that the daylight savings concept is detrimental to business, productivity, health and even lovelife.
Countries can't even agree when the time change occurs.
Time changes occurred already in some nations last Sunday.  The last time change takes place Nov 1.
To add to the confusion, these time changes are on a different days each year.
Of course there is that big BUT 'down under,' where spring is opposite the northern hemisphere where it's fall season

It's almost over

Next few days reservoirs should be getting some additional water. "Stray Thunderstorms"
According to AccuWeather the rainy season ends around October 17, six days before the Sakon Nakhon Royal Longboat Races and Wax Castle Festival, October 23 - 27.
End of the rainy season seems to coincide with the October full moon
