Mind you I have no complaints that there seem to be a lot less fireworks this New Year's celebration. I does seem a bit unusual. No fireworks could be heard in the days prior to the celebration. Maybe one or two. No firework stand popped up along major roads, as is usually the case.New year's eve fireworks sales were mostly small hand held rockets. There seemed to be more smoke and sparkles. No canon fire    I had asked why there was no fireworks heavy artillery available. The one word answer I received "Police."   There seems to be greater agreement forecasting nighttime temperatures, than the daytime temperatures. Obvious though is, we can expect cool and then a slight increase in temperatures. Expect up and down, wave like temperatures through January |

Sawang Daen Din last minute victory
Activity and time lost in translation. The information I got was "football game Sawang Daen Din vs Hospital, starts 5 pm." The information was all wrong. It was an afternoon with a parade, speeches and then a football game. When I arrived they were playing the last 15 minutes of the game. Zero -Zero. The referee held up the 2 minute notice and within a minute Sawang Daen Din scored a goal   During the past two weeks there have been numerous public events in the area. Unfortunately many are lacking public notice. A public provincial activities calendar would definetly improve attendance and create tourism income |
