Seven day weather outlook

As there are no major weather systems heading our way.  No alerts required, I'll limit weather reports to weekly.  Daily occasional rain showers, scattered, here and there. Mostly light, occasional heavy rains.  Overnight feels like temperatures mid twenties, then climbing to upper twenties.  Daytime high feels like high temperature climbing to a high on Saturday and Sunday.  Feels like cools a bit Monday.

Scenery on a budget

Have to buy some more foam.  Holding off till the additional tracks arrive.   

The stack of tape gave me an idea for the bridge supports.  The foam bridge will be replaced, for now it's for design. 

Also collecting cardboard to print out buildings.  Tried my hand with a toothpick fence.  Think I'll consult a local bamboo weaver. Also experimenting with paints and cements.

The scouring pad green is a bit too dark, I'll need a brighter green 

Someone's got to the office earlier this morning

Recent daily weather alert updates by TMD had been issued at 11 am.  Today's update was  issued at 5 am.  The alert is quite general "...  isolated heavy rain. There remains heavy rain much of the Northeast."    What was a tropical storm (Pakhar) yesterday is now recognized as a mere "active low pressure cell."    Heavy rain is still in the forecast for Tuesday.  If the recent pattern is any indication, much of that rain will move north and south of the city (hoping). A pattern I've seen frequently over the years.    One has to keep in mind: water north of the city drains southward 6:45 AM, 28 April 2017

No aircon needed type of an evening

Some clouds some clear sky overnight. A twenty minute tropical downpour early in the evening. After that just thunder in the distance.  Cool enough to turn off the aircon, and even a slight chill in front of two  fans. This evening most of the heavy weather seems to be moving north and south of us. At least early to mid evening
