When you take your phone with you

Google Map records a timeline of everywhere you went.
According to the timeline I left the house at 5:50 pm on January 9. I took a bit of a detour because it took me 22 minutes to get to Champions Bar.

Timeline also added some pictures, even though I have since deleted those pictures from my phone.

I nursed one beer for half an hour and then departed

It wasn't the school. Google timeline added a question mark. That allows me to make corrections.
It was actually the restaurant next door to the school

Spent close to an hour at a family birthday party

checked out the action at WanSby which is less than a minute drive from my house

200109 Misleading packaging, stale looking

prologue While back wrote a story of my experience buying cheap raisins at the Mukdahan waterfront shops.

A reader pointed out that I had things all wrong. It prompted me to revisit and recheck and correct.

Locally I've seen two brands of raisins at the supermarkets.

Ligo are vacuum packed and the correct weight as advertised on the box 250 gram

I found them cheaper at 72 baht at the local supermarket. Online I saw them at 95 baht.

I buy McGarrett raisins frequently 200 gram for 45 baht.
Also vacuum packed. Always have a container on the coffee table for snacks

Fuwei was the brand available really cheap at the waterfront shops in Mukdahan.

Even though the box indicated 212 grams, the actual weight was closer to 80 grams.

These raisins are packed in ziplock bags, not vacuum packed, and tend to age quicker, or is it just the heat which makes them expel a sugary powder?

Unless raisins smell bad they can be rehydrated and used in cooking. I just did not feel comfortable snaking on them

Temple fair continues through this week

Can't confirm it, but been told lasts till Sunday.

Have no idea if it's a new rule "no shoes on any tiled area."

If that's the case I won't be stepping inside the tiled area, won't be visiting the temple much. Those tiles exposed to the heat have to be at least 50 to 60 C. If I do go there I'll make sure to wear a couple layers of socks.

I can understand such a rule when you step into a building.

A few tour buses waiting for their passengers. Under the bus seems a cool place to catch some Z's. The other bus driver seems to be getting a foot massage.

Crews were disassembling the stage from concerts held over the weekend

Most clothing seemed quite reasonably priced. Price of chestnuts seemed to have increased a bit since last year

Three dollar T-shirts seemed reasonable. I'd question if you can wash them in hot water
