Every 'mobile device' picture you take is most likely saved for you on the net

If you snap pictures with your mobile device, your pictures and videos may automatically be saved to the web. Depends on your settings.

Possible difference may be quality.  Also depends on your settings. Then you may want to consider manual transfer to you computer
  
Below: some pictures I took yesterday.  Have to delete them on the phone then delete duplicates on the net.  Don't have to bother with transfer.  

The first pictures looking into the water pot. For some reason ants mistake it as their swimming hole till I turn on the heat to make coffee. I'll keep one picture, delete 3.

Cooked elbows in the rice cooker. Freeze them in meal portions.  Do the same with rice, stew, etc.

The last picture six facemasks I bought late January 6 each for ฿20 
(averages out to 10 cents each)

Google maps generally records my mobile device whereabouts. Frequently I travel without it. When I do want a record I carry it with me

Prohibition extended till the end of April

The somewhat expected news was made public early wednesday afternoon. Alcoholics will have to either deal with withdrawal or find sources.  
Not a major problem for me.  I drink an occasional beer when I have an upset stomach. It relaxes the muscles. One beer is usually sufficient. Replacement medicines have undesirable side effects.
Most businesses will most likely get the ok to reopen by May 1.  
That will most likely happen because the Thai government has limited funds and may need to borrow money for further benefit payments.

Deeply appreciated the interruption

Half a dozen friends visited as a group very unexpectedly and did the Songkran ritual, placing flowers in my hands and pouring water onto my hands.

Prohibition started here

Some seem to think that Thailand Tourism will be up and running later this year.  I have serious doubts.  

Just because (eventually) borders are reopened, tourism is not going to rebound quickly. There will remain a fear to travel to distant lands. Thailand's neighbors seem to be having more serious problems with the virus than Thailand.

For the near future travel plans will involve close to home (domestic) travel. This requires domestics  with jobs and a little extra cash.

Health checks may be required for future international travel.  It would seem sensible to test a bit more than just the body temperature.

Sakon Nakhon has been surprisingly lucky with very little known virus. There were unconfirmed rumors early of just a few suspicions and only one confirmed case.

Sakon Nakhon was the first province to introduce alcohol prohibition.  Made international headlines within hours. It was also a very busy evening on my blog. It will be interesting to see if prohibition ends as scheduled or will be extended

Majority of shops are closed.  A few shops were open, but then they are also residencies.  

Quite a few people have left town and gone to distant villages for the holidays. I base that on a few facebook postings
