EXPO shopping center remodeling underway

The roof overhang is being replaced with a wider one.  I suspect it's to accommodate covered parking. Unfortunately this may add further to the traffic congestion in that street.
Remodeling is also going on at the south end of the EXPO shopping mall.

First introduced by private snail farmers hoping to reap big profits exporting snails to Europe.

Now considered a major rice pest.
