If you're planning on attending the grand opening of the Road House on March 28, coming from Sakon Nakhon, I recommend you switch to the dirt road at the main intersection in Tha Rae. The highway is quite busy and other off ramps are hard to see.
The Road House is easier to spot if you're coming from the Nakhon Phanom direction. You can't miss the sign
There was still plenty of work to do before the opening when I visited.
I was impressed by the furnishings, the word lavish ( having a very rich and expensive quality) comes to mind.
Larry's wife, who operates the place brings with her years of experience of running a restaurant in the U.S.A.
You can quickly spot what Larry is into.
