I had no idea how this game would end. Never heard of Air Force Robinson. When I saw the team lining up I had high hopes. At the start they had control of the ball, but it quickly looked like a motley crew.
There were a few instances which the referees seemed to just ignore. This is the first game of the 2018 Toyota cup and has no effect on the NE league standings. Sakon Nakhon FC host Mahasarakham this Saturday in the league game which is very winnable. |

Reminder: as temperatures heat up food tends to spoil quicker.  Spaghetti sauce, a kilo of fresh tomatoes with sirloin and coconut milk.. Not just for spaghetti, also great with rice or spuds. Probably half a dozen meals. I do all my cooking in bulk and then freeze it for quick microwave meals.  |

Engine fire onboard Bangkok bound flight February 2018
Smoke was noticed from the engine shortly after takeoff from Sakon Nakhon Airport. The aircraft returned safely to Sakon Nakhon. I was having a beer across the street from the runway, did not observe the plane landing, but heard the engine, which seemed louder than normal as the aircraft was reducing speed on the runway. Thai Baht continues to gain
Fifteen years ago today, 17 February, 2003, the day I arrived in Sakon Nakhon, the exchange rate was 43 Baht to the dollar. Today it's 31 Baht to the dollar. The magic pack up and go number for me is 27.
