Keeping up with online television providers for use in Thailand is ongoing as they continue to come and go, here today, gone tomorrow. When searching for US, UK, or other countries TV, the first thing you are offered are VPN's. With VPN's you are most likely confronted with a variety of package payment plans. Make sure it's trustworthy.

That sinking feeling
With a 1-1 tie game in Buriram yesterday, Sakon Nakhon sinks to 12th in a league of 14. After the Sunday games are concluded, Sakon Nakhon should return to 11th place. That of course depends on number one in the league Loi United defeating Surin Sugar, momentarily in 11th place. The next two games are home games which will hopefully be winning games for Sakon Nakhon

Not always quality
It took me a while to figure out the reasoning why a Thai person recommended I bring certain items from the US, rather than purchasing them in Thailand. Two pair shorts, the one on the left is from the US and wore well for 15 years. Drainage Construction may cause some travel delays
There are a number of road and drainage construction projects in progress. This project is the road south of Big C, Expo Plaza and CM Center  The 2013 flood was the worst up to that date     the 2017 flood was the worst in decades   Construction began February 2018   Up to now, installed drainage did not include drainage openings. That seems to be changing now   Here's hoping (but doubtful) that the majority of the project is completed by the start of the rainy season |

To date, no other weather service has issued any weather alerts Thai Meteorology Department weather warning dated 24 April: " Outbreaks of thunderstorm, thunderbolt with gusty winds and hails are forecast" Tonight overnight humidity will keep feels like temperatures at 30 and above until the early morning hours, when the rains are expected. Most weather services expect heavier rains especially Thursday and tapering off Friday. Occasional wind gusts up to 15 km-h. |

Sakon Nakhon FC hosted Huai Thalaeng United in a 1-1 draw and remains in eleventh place. There had obviously been a recent reshuffle in the starting lineup and a few noticeable injuries.
It's my opinion that the 11 meter shot awarded to Huai was a bad call. It was a good game, but not the results hoped for |

It's a must win day for Sakon Nakhon FC. The team sank from 11th to 13th in the league of 14, after Sisaket won their first game of the season (4-2 Buriram) yesterday. Nong Bua had a 0-0 draw with Surin Sugar. Let's hope the game will be as hot as the weather |
Pool cleaning has become a daily necessity. Overhead green tarps give the water a green appearance. Check water balances daily and vacuum the bottom daily. Most days I won't bother with filters, just suck the dirty water out and replace clean water. The sand filter just does not impress me.   |
