For my friends, tomorrow, April 25, we will be Barbecuing again. We have some chicken breasts, pork sausages, Bobs Killer potato salad, maybe some buffalo wings, and whatever else I can dig out of the freezer. Up to you. Come on by and eat. Larry Nelson For my Thailand friends (and anyone from the rest of the civilized world), on April 23rd, the Road House will have whole chicken breasts on the Barbie, smothered in Robert Bob De Angel, super secret lemon butter, herb baste. It is so secret that is rumored to have been locked up with Colonel Sanders super secret 11 herbs and spices recipe although I did not Snope it. Alongside that will be the return of Bob's Killer Potato Salad, veggie, and dinner roll. And, of course, the pool table will be open. Come on over and join the fun and food. Rock on.

For my Thailand friends, first of all, I would like to thank everyone who came to Larrys Road House to celebrate St. Patricks Day. It was a very successful day with many satisfied friends. A special thanks to Peter Forsyth for making the corned beef and to Pu and Pook for making everything work smooth with no one waiting or wanting. It was like clock work. Next, Thursday, March 26 at the Road House we will feature the thick cut BBQ'd steaks along with Bob's Killer Potato Salad. It is so good that it is probably illegal. This will commence at 2PM and will go along with the pool tournament. We also have a massage lady.....again.

	Larry Nelson For my Thailand friends, on March February 27th we will be hosting a going away party for Jackie Ferguson, our dear friend at Larrys Road House, who also happens to be the mother of the rather infamous Jon Nisbet. lol We will be BBQing thick cut Strip Loins, and I mean thick cut, along with baked potato, veggies, and dinner roll. This gathering will commence at 2PM so please come and say good bye to a great lady. An RSVP would be nice so I will know how many steaks to buy.

Cowboy Jim celebrates his birthday at the Roadhouse

For my Thailand friends,  this coming Thursday,  February 12th,  we will have a birthday  gathering for "Cowboy" James Wilkins at Larry's  Road House​, starting at 12 noon and continue  throughout the day.  Jim wants to give everyone who  mentions his birthday a 200 baht credit for drinks.  Kind of like the same thing Hans did for his birthday. Remember, YOU MUST MENTION COWBOY  JIM'S BIRTHDAY in order to receive the 200 baht credit.

	For my Thailand friends, Larrys Road House​ will be having a Valentine day celebration on Saturday, February 14, starting 4 pm There will be a free rose for the ladies as well as the first free drink and spring rolls too. Karaoke and pool will be open as well. We hope to see you here and enjoy.

Watch the Super bowl at the Roadhouse

For my Thailand friends, a reminder of the Super Bowl party on February 2,  starts at Larry's Road House at 0630. 

I know, I know, but we will have breakfast and Bloody Maries or whatever else, to ease the agony of watching a game at such an early time. 

I have 5 squares left on the pool.

On March 17, we will celebrate St. Patricks Day here featuring the world famous, Peter Forsyth corned beef. Starts at 2 PM.
We still have the pool tournament every Friday.

Super Bowl party at the Roadhouse next month

Larry's Road House will be having a Super Bowl party on February 2. Start time is 630 AM .

This event is what initially put my life on the path to having my own bar. One year ago, I was desperate to find a bar to watch the Super Bowl. I found a Farang bar in Sakon Nakhon via the internet. I visited the bar and was told that "there was no way I was getting up that early to watch a football game". I also was craving a Margarita. lol Then I decided to do my thing. Good or bad, I did it.

This year, we will be open and serve Bloody Marys, breakfast, and also we will be having a square pool. For entertainment only. lol
Anyone interested, please feel free to stop by and watch the worlds most viewed sporting event.

I am also going to be watching the division championships this weekend, even though the Pack/Hawks game is on at 0330 this coming Monday. Go Packers.

News from the Roadhouse

For my Thailand friends, next week I will be taking a little vacation time on a beach somewhere.

In my absence, the famous,(or infamous) Paul Duffy will be running Larrys Road House .

There will be very little kitchen service, (basically none) since Pu will be going on vacation also.

The pool tournament will be held as usual on Thursday afternoon

There will be no BBQ this Friday.

I will be back at the bar on the morning of Monday,  12 January to watch and host the championship college game between Ohio State and Oregon. Starts at 0800.

Starting on Friday, January 16, we will begin combining the pool tournament and BBQ on  the same day, 1400 start.

This Friday at Larrys Road House is going to be a long day. For the Americans we will have the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl playoffs starting at 5 AM.
  

I only expect about 4 people that early including me. We will have breakfast starting at 8 AM. 

After the games are over, we will have the grill fired up and will feature real Cumberland Pork Sausages, authentic Buffalo wings and some kind of veggie. Bloody Marys will be available at 5 AM

For my friends in Thailand, New Years Eve, 12/31
we will have a celebration to bring in the New Year.

•  Live music, 
•  some fireworks, (nothing like the bombs we had on the 4th of July), 
•  and the mystery punch. 
• Karaoke too. 

Plan on coming and see who can make it to the final countdown.
We will be closed on 01/01 to lick the wounds. lol

Thursdays pool tournament, at 2 PM

• We need a total of 8 players (been averaging around 6) for an 8 ball tournament. We will start off with best of 5 games for the first 4 sets, best of 7 for the second 2 sets and best of 9 games for the final set. We will be playing "Road House" rules to try to eliminate the inevitable international differences. We will have fresh barbecue pork dinner with baked potato, and veggies for 150 thb.
