Recuperating once again
Taking a few days away from blogging in order to recuperate from yesterdays motorcycle accident.
Was at Colin's yesterday where I enjoyed a new item of his, a spicy pizza. I left there after a few hours and was headed to the Schack.
On my way there I wound up in a groove running alongside the highway and the shoulder. I lost control of the bike and spent the rest of the evening at the hospital getting patched up and some stitches above my left eye

Windy City Football
Not a happy ending for Sakon Nakhon FC fans  It was a windy afternoon, an empty beer can passed by me at 15 mph. Occasional gusts up to 20 mph, plenty plastic bags were airborne  Not well publicized, attendance was meager, mostly hard core fans      Nong Khai players arrived less than an hour before game time  Deflategate? Nah!    Nong Khai seems to have a better team than in previous years. This was a friendly and the loss won't show up on any score tally |

Change of plans?
It looked like my neighbor had planned on building a road early this month  Then on the second day of soil delivery there was as discussion which ended the work. The road was closed off and trespassers warned  A few days later a tractor was busy at the east end of the property.   No new soil was delivered. An embankment was built, creating what might become a pond of sort  |

Went down to the waterfront to check out the water level. It's going down.
  Saw a couple releasing some birds. One flew away, a second one did not make it. Suspect we'll be seeing plenty walkways in another month or two    |

Container housing and shops
  The building near the lake is progressing slowly, adding another floor. Construction of a planned water park seems to be progressing at a snails pace. First noted construction on 1 October. Talk was that it would be operational by christmas. Looks like container shops going up there too.  |

The field had not been watered in some time and dust clouds were seen throughout the game   One play led to player anger which resulted in some shoving and fistecuff    Both players should have been red carded but were admonished with yellow cards Some fanfare when the team displayed new drums for the cheerleaders   A Sakon Nakhon win was anticipated from the outset. Mukdahan had ended the 2015 season in last place in the Division 2 league. Division 2 games remain suspended until further notice. Toyota cup game schedule announcement is pending |
