Flood danger has not passed
Water is receding at a much slower rate, there is continued fear that (lake) Nong Hahn will extend in size and reach parts of the city again. Daily chance of rain still high, but nothing of major proportions as in past days  |

The flood of 2017, worst in at least a decade
June 25, 2017  9:30 AM July 28 overflowed 15 minutes after this picture  Uncovered my drain which serves many of my gutters. It's at a standstill and rising. Got about another inch to go. Probably in the flood zone by this afternoon  29 July    |

No end in sight yet
 This weather system has been doing a counterclockwise circle dance for the past 24 hours and is not getting tired yet. Hourly rain chance 80 to 95% all day and through much of Saturday. ...why am I standing in front of a blank wall ?
The shelf contains medicines, first aid supplies, bug sprays and various other frequently used items. Since moving the shelve I have caught myself a few times standing in front of a blank wall, looking for something.
Of course I stand there for a few seconds trying to remember what I was looking for and why am I standing in front of a blank wall.

Sakon FC ends the season on a high note
 Sakon Nakhon FC ended the season in 4th place in the league, winning 2-1 against Roi Et. Best standing in the team's 12 year history. Even though the season has officially ended, there's talk that the team may be involved in some additional games. At this point it's nothing more than rumors, nothing official, but the rumors seem to have started by one or more of the team's players |
