This could be Sakon FC's best season

Yesterday's 3-0 win with Mahasarakham propelled Sakon FC to 5th place of 12 teams according to official statistics.  If you look at the point standings , three teams are tied for third place with 28 points. The goal difference is what drops Sakon FC down to 5th place.  The team needs some high scoring wins. They are on the road for the next two games. At Chaiyaphum Sunday, 2 July, then Loei City, Sunday,  9 July.  The Chaiyaphum game is 'troubled waters,' they are number 2 in the league.  after that things look a bit more promising for Sakon FC. Loei City is winnable.    The final two games are home games: Buriram B on 16 July, Roi Et on 19 July.  Those last two games of the season could be / should be high scoring games.

Tropical thunderstorm began around 2 am. Thunder and lightening, my gutters were running over.  Flooding was inevitable.  One can only hope there's enough time for water to run off before the next storm. Commercial media, radio, tv.  They bring you the news for profit.  Then there are government restrictions, religious morals.  Let's not forget propaganda, also known as political re-education; gosip falls in this category. Once you have an image how the news is presented to you, truth or fiction ... travel with me to the distant past.  On the way a quick stop at medieval days.  "hear ye, hear ye," the town cryer would proclaim, ringing his bell. Before the printing press, when books were hand copied, one at a time. This trip ends at the all time bestseller, most printed and distributed book: the bible.  The article below is a "believe it or not" story.    I'm not convinced, but it adds to the intrigue.

Real feel high 40,    rain chance decreases after 4 pm,    humidity rises late afternoon 2004 to about 2008 television satellite dishes were sold locally for pirated signals from the Philippines and Africa.  Philippine signal provided a number of US channels, while the African satellite provided numerous sport channels.   At one time I had two dishes. One with a directional motor.  System codes needed to be updated once a day.  There was a website which provided code updates. Times have changed.  These days almost everything is available on the net, and at reasonable prices.  I could never see the sense in paying outrageous prices for 300 channels when I never watched more than a dozen. Right around the time I started this blog , January 2009, I stopped bothering with downloading pirated movies.   There's much legal free stuff available these days.  I'm rebuilding my list of TV streams, as many come and go. Icepack kind of a day

The air con was making strange noises.  I decided to inspect the filters, hadn't done it in a while.    Grabbed a chair, didn't see what was on the chair till I felt it on my foot. 4 kg - 8.8 pounds Cleaning was way overdue Time to call in the professionals, meanwhile I'll be sporting an icepack on my foot most of the day
