In an electronics shop, I asked a woman stocking the shelf for an 'extension" wire for my headset. As she showed me a wrong wire, I told her "chai and ying." The young lady looked at me perplexed for just a second, then her face lit up and she handed me the correct wire. First breath of Divisional Football 2015
No list of teams participating or schedule for 'Thai Division 2 League North Eastern Region' this season has been publicized yet.
But there are stirrings underway indicating that the rosters will soon be made public.
The first news is the suspension of both the Mukdahan and Yasothon teams for the 2015 season at Siam Sport

Red Cross Fair 2015 in Sakon Nakhon
Best part of the fair was meeting friends I had not seen for a while.
Fairs aren't as enticing to me as they once were.
The no alcohol law is a big reason. I'm not a lush, but I used to enjoy sitting down with friends and relax with a beer or two and watch people walk by.
Bumper cars were a favorite of mine. Used to spend hours riding the cars and even give away books of tickets to all the kids who looked but couldn't afford the ride. They even set up a table nearby where I could sit down with a cocktail or two.
Haven't seen the rides at fairs in at least five years.

The Name just sounds silly to me, considering ham is made from pork and police are frequently sarcastically referred to as pigs.
Ham in this case refers to Ham Radio operators.
There are varied reasons given for the word Ham Operator, some again make reference to pigs and pigs behind.
What struck me as more relevant was the word amateur was pronounced hamateur during Shakespeare's time.
I still think "Tourist Ham" is a silly way of identifying Volunteer Tourist Police.

The word selfie is a fairly recent addition to the english language.
The word seems to have first appeared in 2002
The first known selfie was taken in 1839, it was also the first photograph in the US.
I began taking selfies as soon as I developed an interest in cameras early 1960's
